Volleyball fans from all over Europe have got an additional chance to get their tickets for the upcoming CEV European Championships 2009 to be staged in Izmir and Istanbul next September 3-13, 2009. The local organizers, namely the Turkish Volleyball Federation, finalized an agreement along with Biletix for the online sale of entrance tickets for all matches, starting from the preliminaries up to the finals, and for both competition venues.
To buy their tickets fans simply have to surf to this link:
http://www.biletix.com/perfList.htm?id=620&locale=en&pst=EVENTGROUP and then sort out the dates of the matches they are planning to attend.
The local Organizing Committee would like to add some information about the general philosophy governing this ticketing campaign: fans will be simply buying their tickets and no plans of the competition halls are available there since seats are not numbered (apart from those reserved for the VIPs and the press), i.e. the people will be accommodated upon their arrival and those resuming first to the venue are likely to get the best seats.
This past weekend about 1,000 tickets were sold via Internet for the first competition day – featuring also an Opening Ceremony which promises to be very captivating and entertaining – in Izmir, so we kindly advise all European volleyball fans to have a quick look at this Internet resource and eventually buy their tickets in due time.
Some more details about the promotional activities accompanying the fine-tuning of the preparations for the European Championships will follow soon.
