Olympiakos won the battle between brothers

Olympiakos is still unbeaten in Volleyleague. Panathinaikos seem to be very weak to win even a set in Monday’s game.

Having a great performance Olympiakos easily won 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-21) over Panathinaikos in the last game for the fourth round in Greece. Bojan Yordanov and Milan Jurisic were the best for Olympiako’s team. The coaches of Panathinaikos Stelios Kazazis and Olympiakos Dimitris Kazazis are brothers!!!

On Saturday’s games Iraklis and Finikas Syrou claimed straight-set victories. In Thessaloniki Iraklis won the game against Ethnikos Alexandroupolis. This was the first win for the home team and the first lose for Alexandroupolis team. For Iraklis both middle blockers Andreas Andreadis and Xristos Hatziparadisis were very effective. 

 

Finikas won Niki Aiginiou 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-13) in Syros. For the home team Ilias Lappas scored 14 and Matthias Bohme 17 points.

Lamia won 3-1 (25-23, 25-21, 14-25, 25-22) the game against Pamvohaikos. Pamvohaikos made a great transfer by taking Brazilian star Leonado Caldeira.

Aris continues playing in higher level that the previous years. This week won 1-3 the game against Milonas in Athens. Xristos Kiosis scoring 14 points with four blocks was the star of Thessaloniki’s team.

On Sunday’s game PAOK won 3-1 over Kifisia in Thessaloniki. Gerasimos Kanellos was very effective scoring 14 points with 92% efficiency!!!
