An official press conference was organized in the City Hall of Serbia’s capital city to unveil the logo as well as the mascot designed for the 2011 CEV Volleyball European Championship – Women that Serbia will co-host together with Italy this coming September. The event was attended by Mr. Aleksandar Antic, Chairman of the City Council, Mrs. Snezana Samardzic-Markovic, Minister of Youth and Sports in the Serbian government, His Excellency Mr. Armando Varricchio, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Italy in Beograd, Mr. Aleksandar Boricic, President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia and Mr. Zoran Avramovic, Marketing Director of the Championship.
The press conference was also attended by some players of Serbia’s national team, namely Sanja Malagurski, Nadja Ninkovic, Nina Rosic, and Bojana Zivkovic.
