After going through a real marathon on Saturday, this afternoon the girls of Serbia were on a class of their own and totally dominated the second game with France which was played – once again – in front of full stands in Subotica. Jovana Brakocevic was the real match winner for the home side while France could simply not resist to the terrific tempo imposed by the 2009 and 2010 European League champions.
Spain scored its second win of the prelims reversing the outcome of yesterday’s game with Greece while Romania did not leave any chance to the Belarusian girls of head coach Viktar Hancharou who really disappointed their home fans in Minsk by losing their second game against Nneka Onyejekwe & Co. in straight sets.
