After releasing Poland’s Marcel Gromadowski and signing two guys from
Latvia, Iraklis THESSALONIKI finalized the composition of its roster for
the upcoming season.
Head coach Sotirios Drikos has decided to retain Andrej Kravarik and
Giorgios Tzioumakas, thereby ending the contract of Gromadowski.
Moreover, Iraklis has signed two Latvian players, namely Ansis Medenis – who spent the last season in Finland – and Viktors Korzenevics, who is moving from SCC BERLIN to Greece.
Iraklis has announced that a press conference specifically devoted to its participation in the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League will be organized this coming Thursday, some two weeks before the first match with Noliko MAASEIK of Belgium.
